KANYE AND 50 CENT THE SHOWDOWN

RETIREMENT…huh? 50 Cent was really that confident, until he suddenly took his words back. The truth of the matter is that this "rivalry" was completely manufactured between the two. Almost every Tuesday there is an album release in which there are two parties that actually go head to head; with hopes of having an unstoppable album that sells more than the other. This time its Kanye West and 50 cent, two men who have accomplished as much as artists as they have as hype machines. They are very similar in the music world. The showdown was to have an effect that people would buy more CD’s. This concept actually worked! To support their artists many have fled to buy either one of the albums. We aren’t too sure at this point however; rumor has it that Kanye West’s Graduation sold more than 50 Cent’s Curtis.
